Established by Firas Badra in 2011, FB Holding is the parent company of a number of agricultural service companies operating under the label FB Green.

Prior to FB Holding, Mr. Badra’s core business was Golden Grain, a commodity-trading house established out of Paris in 2004 and which later moved to Beirut in 2006. At its peak, the company was the leading barley trader in the KSA and one of the largest in the world with a global market share exceeding 30%.

FB Green, through its various subsidiaries, provides a full suite of services relating to the development and management of large scale agricultural farms, as well as the marketing and trading of various commodities.

Haggar Holding Company (HHC) is the Haggar family’s investment vehicle. The Haggar family has been active in East Africa for over 100 years in numerous sectors.

The group’s portfolio includes FMCG, retail, trading, banking, real estate, insurance, agriculture, oil and gas, telecommunications and healthcare.

HHC’s long, successful track record in the region provides great value and expertise to GLB Invest on a strategic level.

M1 Group
M1 Group

M1 Group is a diversified investment family-based group headquartered in Lebanon. Historically, the group’s core business was telecoms and M1’s flagship company, Investcom, was taken public on the London Stock Exchange in 2005 and was later merged with South African company MTN.

Today, M1 Group is active across the globe in numerous sectors including telecoms, real estate, banking, fashion, aviation, cement and energy.
